The company contracted Old Street Communications in 2023 to support the announcement of its $8.6m seed funding round in US and European press.
The main aim was to secure coverage in as many top-tier startup and tech publications as possible. Getting the attention of top-tier press with seed funding can be challenging, however, we took advantage of the company’s unique offering and partnerships to sell-in a stand-out story.
Following the successful funding campaign, OSC worked with ShapesXR on a thought leadership campaign around the launch of Meta Quest 3 and the flagship conference, Meta Connect 2023. This has positioned the company’s founder, Inga Petryaevskaya as an important voice in the conversation. Results included briefings with Wall Street Journal and VentureBeat, bylines in tech.eu and TechRadar, and mentions in articles by Technology Magazine, VentureBeat, and Metaverse Post.
