Starting in January 2017, Old Street Communications was retained to launch TrueLayer’s new offering to the financial and business markets. As Open Banking was a new and complicated concept, the challenge was to educate the media and businesses on how it works and its benefits, while simultaneously positioning TrueLayer as a thought leader.

Ahead of the introduction of GDPR in May 2018, we were instructed by PORT to build their media profile and raise awareness of GDPR. At the time, few businesses and journalists had heard of the sweeping privacy legislation. The challenge was to educate stakeholders on the substantial impact of the legislation, the need for technology solutions and the commercial benefits of being GDPR compliant.

Primalbase wanted to showcase its unique membership offering which involved consumers purchasing blockchain based tokens to gain hot desks at its offices in Europe. The aim was to reassure its investor community that it was delivering on its promises, appeal to the wider emerging tech community and defend against negative publicity regarding blockchain companies.
